Dubl-Bolt

Dubl-Bolt is a new patented device that with on simple motion operated both the top and bottom bolt in the inactive leaf of a pair of hollow metal doors.

A simple lever installed at lock height can easily be operated by a wheel chair user.

Both top bolt and bottom bolt have a throw of over 1 inch. The tapered bolt-head helps the bolt-head find and slide into the strike. Smart, over-center spring action prevents the lever from stopping mid-way in the lever action.

Bolt cannot be thrown if the door is ajar.

Dubl-Bolt is designed to reduce the need for hollow metal distributors to stock inactive leaves prepped for manual flush bolts. Dubl-Bolt mounts into the prep for a standard mortise lock. Dubl-Bolt trim doubles as a strike for the active door, latchbolt and deadbolt.

Easy installation with standard tools for both beveled doors and non-beveled doors. The trim fits most US-made mortise locks.

Facilitates ADA Requirements for easy, economical operation by disabled persons. The lever can be moved with one finger.
